This is my submission for the @garrixonstudio Design Contest. I wanted to use the knowledge I have learned about shoe design and development this past year from the @uosportsproduct program as an outlet for me to create some change. I designed this shoe with a bigger purpose than just something to put on your feet for a trip from A to B.

For this contest I selected the sole provided by Garrixon and Vibram, then I designed the upper. This shoe is dedicated to the resilience of the communities that have been oppressed and marginalized for far too long. In the end, one design will be selected to be taken into production. If my design were to be selected, I would want all profits to go to charitable organizations, like the ones listed below, that are helping to make the change I want to see in the world.
